Man who tried to arrest murder in 2010 while working at bar in Oklahoma City
A man wanted in connection with a murder case more than a decade old was arrested Friday in Oklahoma by US marshals, officials said. US marshals arrested Charles Turk, 42, at Oklahoma City's Coyote Ugly Bar where he worked as security, on Friday. Turk is wanted in connection with the December 2010 murder of 33-year-old Robert Jones, according to court records. The body of Jones was found on the grounds of the Hartwell Country Club, with police saying he had been shot. Turk will be held at the Oklahoma County Detention Center pending extradition to Hamilton County.

A man wanted in connection with a murder case more than a decade old was arrested Friday in Oklahoma by US marshals, officials said.
Charles Turk, 42, was arrested at Oklahoma City’s Coyote Ugly Bar where he worked as security, the US Marshals Service said in a press release. He has been wanted by the Cincinnati Police Department since 2011.
According to officials, a murder warrant was issued against Turk by the Hamilton County Municipal Court in June of that year.
He is a suspect in the December 2010 murder of 33-year-old Robert Jones, according to court records. According to a 2010 Enquirer article, Jones’ body was found on the grounds of the Hartwell Country Club, with police saying he had been shot.
Officers responded after a passing motorist reported seeing an unconscious person on the golf course, the article said, adding that Jones was not a patron or employee at the country club.
Marshals of the Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team have been searching for Turk since 2016, when the agency took on the case, officials said.
Turk will be held at the Oklahoma County Detention Center pending extradition to Hamilton County.
