ONCE INSIDE, AUTHORITIES SAY THE SUSPECT, AUDREY HEIL, SHOT AND KILLED SIX PEOPLE, INCLUDING THOSE THREE YOUNG CHILDREN. AUTHORITIES SAY HEIL FIRED AT OFFICERS FROM A SECOND STORY WINDOW. ACCORDING TO POLICE, TWO OFFICERS RAN TOWARD THAT GUNFIRE, SHOOTING AND KILLING HEIL. JUST 14 MINUTES AFTER THE FIRST 911 CALL. AND POLICE SAY HEIL PREPARED FOR YESTERDAY’S ATTACK. WITH DETAILS, MAPS AND LEFT BEHIND WRITINGS THAT WILL BE PART OF THE INVESTIGATION. SO THIS MORNING, LAWMAKERS HERE AND STATE LAW ENFORCEMENT ARE NOW PAYING ATTENTION. OKLAHOMA HIGHWAY PATROL SAYS THEY’LL STUDY THE SHOOTING AND OTHERS AROUND THE COUNTRY TO TRAIN OKLAHOMANS, SAYS TROOPER ERIC FOSTER SAYS AGENCIES AROUND THE STATE HAVE MAINSTREAMED THEIR TRAINING. AN ARREST WARRANT WAS FIRST ISSUED FOR CODY ELLIS LAST FRIDAY AS PART OF AN INVESTIGATION INTO MISUSED PUBLIC MONEY. ACCORDING TO THE INDICTMENT, ELLIS WAS USING THAT MONEY TO FUEL HIS PERSONAL VEHICLE, WHILE ALSO RECEIVING HIS STIPEND. HIS NEXT COURT APPEARANCE WILL BE APRIL 27TH. HAPPENING NOW IN DAVIS, POLICE WARNING RESIDENTS TO LOCK UP THEIR CARS IN TOWN AFTER WHAT THE DEPARTMENT SAYS ARE NUMEROUS REPORTS AND CALLS. DAVIS POLICE SAYS THEY ARE INVESTIGATING EACH BURGLARY, BUT DUE TO THE NUMBER OF THEM, THEY ARE ASKING FOR SOME HELP.
