TODAY. WHAT DID YOU LEARN? WELL, GUYS, THAT BASICALLY MEANS ABOUT 450 GALLONS OF OIL GOT INTO THAT CREEK. NOW I WANT TO SHOW YOU OUR FUEL TANK HERE AT THE STATION. THIS IS FOR OUR HELICOPTER SKY 5. IT HOLDS ABOUT 1000 GALLONS OF FUEL. SO IMAGINE HALF OF THIS. NOW THE LAND MANAGER OUT THERE SAYS THIS ISN’T THE FIRST TIME SOMETHING LIKETHIS HAS HAPPENED. AND WALK BEHIND THE TANKS AND CREEK WAS WAS JUST PLUMB FULL OF OIL. THIS IS WHAT GLENN RAAD FOUND THURSDAY. OIL FLOWING DOWN THE CREEK BED ON THE LAND HE MANAGES. HE TOOK US DOWN TO THE BANK FOR A CLOSER LOOK AND WE GOT CATTLE. WE OUR CATTLE DRINKS OUT OF THIS CREEK, NEIGHBORS CATTLE DRINKS OUT OF THIS CREEK. AND HE’S HAD TO MOVE CATTLE AWAY FROM THIS PASTURE ALTOGETHER. WE BUILT FENCES AND EVERYTHING TO PUT CATTLE HERE. BUT IT’S JUST SUCH A MESS ALL THE TIME. HE’S WORKED THIS LAND FOR THE LAST 25 YEARS. AND HE TOLD ME IN THAT TIME THERE HAVE BEEN SEVERAL ISSUES WITH THE OIL TANKS AND CHEMICALS LEAKING. WE’VE LOST HORSES THAT, YOU KNOW, GONE DOWN THERE, THE WELL RIGHT OVER THERE HAS LEAKED SALT WATER AND THE HORSES GO DOWN THERE. THEY LIKE THAT SALT AND IT KILLS THEM. WE’VE HAD A COUPLE COATS, JUST THAT, AS YOU KNOW, CAN BE NOW. IT’S NOT BECAUSE WE’RE IN A SHADY SPOT. THE WATER IS LITERALLY THIS DARK BECAUSE THERE’S SO MUCH OIL IN IT. IN FACT, IT’S COMING FROM THAT TANK BATTERY ON TOP OF THIS HILL. WHILE IT’S ESTIMATED ABOUT 25 BARRELS OF OIL SPILLED, THE OKLAHOMA CORPORATION COMMISSION SAYS ABOUT TEN BARRELS GOT INTO THE CREEK. WHILE IT HAS BEEN CONTAINED TO LESS THAN A MILE OF CREEK BED, IT’S STILL A SERIOUS SITUATION. A BARREL OF OIL IS 44 GALLONS, SO TEN BARRELS WOULD BE ABOUT 440 GALLONS. WE TAKE IT VERY SERIOUS. NOW, IN THE GRAND SCHEME OF THINGS, THIS IS NOT CONSIDERED TO BE A LARGE SPILL. NONETHELESS, IT IS SOMETHING THAT HAS TO BE, UH, TREATED CAREFULLY AND PROPERLY. THE OCC SAYS BLACK CAT OIL COMPANY IS THE OPERATOR. WE CALLED THEM TODAY FOR COMMENT BUT DID NOT GET A CALL BACK. IT HAS TO BE REMOVED AND THE AREA HAS TO BE, UH, SIMPLY PUT, BROUGHT BACK TO THE WAY IT WAS BEFORE THE SPILL OCCURRED. NOW. THE CORPORATION COMMISSION TOLD ME THE COMPANY HAS UNTIL APRIL 15TH TO
