THAT FOOTAGE FOR US TONIGHT. IT WAS A PICKP TRUCK AND AN SUV. THEY WERE SEEMING TO BE SWERVING BACK AND FORTH. THIS EDMOND OFFICER WAS JUST DRIVING ON PATROL LAST TUESDAY WHEN HE SAW ROAD RAGE UNFOLD RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIM, NOT ONCE, BUT TWICE HERE, POLICE SAY AS A TRUCK DRIVER SWERVED INTO THE OUTSIDE LANE AFTER A BIT OF CONSTRUCTION, HE HIT THE CAR IN FRONT OF HIM. THERE WERE NO INJURIES, BUT OF COURSE VERY DANGEROUS. AND FOR A SECOND TIME YOU SEE THAT DRIVER HIT THE CAR ONE MORE TIME. AFTER PULLING UP NEXT TO HER NEAR WEST 15TH STREET AND KELLY PARK ROAD, WE HAVE OUR REGULAR DISTRICTS THAT WERE AROUND PATROLLING IN AND LUCKILY FOR THIS VICTIM, HE WAS THERE, RIGHT BEHIND THEM AND SAW THE WHOLE THING. SO THE EDMOND OFFICER PULLED THEM BOTH OVER AND CONFRONTED THE DRIVER OF THE TRUCK. I SAW YOU RAM HER CAR WITH YOUR VEHICLE. I DIDN’T TOUCH HER. YES, YOU DID. NOW THAT SUSPECT IS UNDER ARREST FOR ASSAULT AND BATTERY WITH A DEADLY WEAPON. BUT SINCE. SINCE HE HASN’T BEEN CHARGED YET, WE AREN’T NAMING IT. HIS STATEMENT WAS THAT HE DIDN’T REALIZE HE HAD TOUCHED HER, THAT HE HAD SCRAPED HER VEHICLE. AND IT’S ON VIDEO.
