Lynda Tarpley passed away peacefully March 2nd in Oklahoma City. Born in Killeen, Tx, she was a lifelong resident and attended Northwest Classen and the University of Oklahoma. She began her dancing career at 3 and continued until her death, where she felt like she taught half of OKC to tap. She also had a successful modeling career. Lynda is survived by her daughter, Tiffany Murray, her sister and brother-in-law, Stevie and Bill Martin, nephews and niece, B.J. Martin, Deanna Martin and Justin Martin. A celebration will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Lynda's favorite charity, St.Jude.

Lynda Tarpley passed away peacefully March 2nd in Oklahoma City. Lynda was born on December 11 in Killeen, Tx. Her family moved to Oklahoma City when she was two years old where she remained a lifelong resident. She attended Northwest Classen and the University of Oklahoma. She was an avid Sooner fan.

Lynda began her dancing career at 3 years old and continued until her death. She said she felt like she taught half of OKC to tap. Lynda also had a long modeling career, including commercials, runway and print.

The family would like to express our appreciation to her dancers. You were her second family. We appreciate your loyalty and care for her. You all brought her purpose, laughter and joy.

Lynda is survived by the love of her life, her daughter, Tiffany Murray and her beloved grandchildren, Graham Murray and Bennett Murray. She is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Stevie and Bill Martin and her nephews and niece, B.J. Martin, Deanna Martin and Justin Martin. She was predeceased by her husband, Dr. Thomas Tarpley and her parents Ross and Bennie Marchman.

There will be a celebration to honor Lynda at a later time. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Lynda’s favorite charity, St.Jude.
