The Phoenix Suns and Oklahoma City Thunder meet Friday in NBA action at the Paycom Center. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best bets for this game. Here’s a Suns vs Thunder prediction.

The Phoenix Suns have been in fine form as they’ve won four of their last five games overall and they will be eager to keep it going after taking down the Nuggets in a 104-97 road win on Wednesday. Kevin Durant led the team with 30 points, 13 rebounds and five blocks, Devin Booker added 17 points with nine assists while Grayson Allen chipped in with 13 points. As a team, the Suns shot 47 percent from the field and 16 of 33 from the 3-point line as they kept the Nuggets in check early and took a seven-point lead into halftime, before they went on another charge in the third quarter to push the lead out to 15 points and escape with the impressive road win.

Meanwhile, the Oklahoma City Thunder have been in great form as they’ve won eight of their last 11 games overall, but they will be hoping to bounce back in this one after falling short to the Rockets in a 132-126 overtime loss on Wednesday. Josh Giddey led the team with 31 points, seven rebounds and four assists, Jalen Williams added 23 points with 10 assists while Isaiah Joe chipped in with 17 points and six assists off the bench. As a team, the Thunder shot 49 percent from the field and 14 of 38 from the 3-point line as they worked their way back from a 14-point deficit, only to let it go to waste in overtime where the Rockets poured in 20 points to slip away in the end.

• The favorites have won 20 of the last 21 games between the Suns and Thunder at Paycom Center.

• The Thunder have covered the spread in each of their last seven home games following an overtime loss.

• Each of the Thunder’s last 12 home games against Pacific Division opponents have gone OVER the total points line.

• The Suns have lost each of their last 10 games at Paycom Center against Thunder teams that held a winning record.

• The Suns have failed to cover the spread in each of their last six road games against Northwest Division opponents following a win.

• Nine of the Suns’ last 10 games against Western Conference opponents have gone UNDER the total points line.

The Phoenix Suns are still missing Damion Lee, and they have Jusuf Nurkic listed as questionable, while the Thunder have listed Shai Gilgeous-Alexander as doubtful for this one. The Suns opened as the slight underdogs for this one, but with the news that Gilgeous-Alexander is expected to sit out, it’s no surprise that they’ve moved to favortism status in what should be a close contest. The Suns are starting to heat up now, and they would’ve taken plenty of confidence from their upset win over the Nuggets on Wednesday. I think they can keep it going with another win and cover at this short line.
