Donna Stover Roberts was born in 1950 to Curtis and Virgil Dick in Oklahoma City. She passed away on March 24, 2024, at the age of 74. Donna attended Langston University and received her Bachelor of Arts and Sciences with a focus on education, followed by Master's of Education from Wichita State University in 1976. She was an elementary school teacher for the Oklahoma City Public Schools and retired in 2006. She is survived by her husband, Mel Roberts, daughter Donita Wade, son William “Chubby” Stover Jr. and wife Ella Stover, and daughter Susan Masicampo of Honolulu, Hawaii. Donna was a self-taught ASL interpreter for almost twenty-five years and a talented artist.

Donna Stover Roberts was born on March 23, 1950, to Curtis and Virgil Dick. She resided in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma until her passing on March 24, 2024, at the age of 74.

Donna attended Langston University, graduating with her Bachelor of Arts and Sciences with a focus on education. She received her Master's of Education from Wichita State University in 1976. Donna served in the Army Reserves from July 1985 to August 1994. She was an elementary school teacher for the Oklahoma City Public Schools and retired in 2006.

She is survived by her husband, Mel Roberts of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; her daughter Donita Wade and wife Tonia Elliott, both of Kissimmee, Florida; her son William “Chubby” Stover Jr. and wife Ella Stover, both of Chicago, Illinois; and her bonus daughter Susan Masicampo of Honolulu, Hawaii.

She has seven grandchildren: Curtis, Jenna, Gabrielle, Tashona, Jay Jay, Jessica and Johnathan.

One brother, Curtis Dick Jr., and wife Lynda Dick, both of Las Vegas, Nevada; one niece, D’lynn Dick-Leech also of Las Vegas, Nevada; and one nephew, Eric Alexander Leech of Phoenix, Arizona.

She is also survived by numerous friends and bonus family members.

Donna was a faithful member of One Family Church International for over thirty years. She loved singing in the choir. She was a self-taught ASL interpreter for almost twenty-five years. She is a talented artist who was famous for her T-shirt designs. She loved working with children of all ages.

Donna loved to dance, sing, and ride roller coasters. She was a Disney Adult. She loved covering her home with stuffed animals and dolls, amassing a huge collection.

We will cherish and remember her through looking at you all and listening to all your shared memories.

A visitation for Donna will be held Friday, March 29, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, 8805 NE 23rd Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73141. A celebration of life will occur on Saturday, March 30, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home.
