'THANKFUL': Former Edison drama student flies teacher to NYC to see her play
Jameson White's play "Ahead of Their Time" was accepted into the New York Theatre Festival, and she's flying her former drama teacher to see it. Jameson White, a former Edison High graduate, has been performing in Tulsa community theater and the New York Theatre Festival. Her play, "Ahead of Their Time," was accepted into the prestigious Winter Fest, a major NYC showcase for new plays, musicals, one-acts, and solos. Her teacher, Amber Harrington, recognized White's passion for performing and saw the potential for her to reach new audiences and gain industry exposure. White enlisted former Edison high classmate Mikaela Bonilla to help tell this personal story.
