Tulsa Police arrest two after stolen vehicle chase

The vehicle was reported near Peoria Avenue and 56th Street, but failed to yield to officers and continued east on 56th St. The driver, identified as Randolph White, was arrested by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol for possession of the stolen vehicle and eluding. The passenger was also arrested by TPD for joyriding.

Tulsa Police Department (TPD) located a stolen vehicle during a pursuit on Tuesday at approximately 5:00 P.M.
According to TPD, a stolen White Tahoe was reported near Peoria Avenue and 56th Street.
A traffic stop was initiated, but the driver failed to yield to officers and continued east on 56th Street.
The vehicle let a passenger out near the entrance ramp at 5600 North Highway 75, then continued onto the highway.
A pursuit was initiated and a TPD officer was granted permission to continue to follow the vehicle while patching surrounding agencies.
TPD reported that the vehicle was damaged due to stop stickers and eventually spun out at approximately 6:20 P.M.
The driver, identified as Randolph White, was arrested by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol for possession of a stolen vehicle and eluding.
The passenger was arrested by TPD for joyriding.
